Tonight I’ve decided to write a little bit about an app that has vastly improved my life over the past few weeks, UberEATS – because who doesn’t love free food delivered straight to your door?
UberEATS is an on demand food delivery app, similar to some others on the market. However this is an extension of the Uber app (a taxi service in cities all around the world, including London), meaning it automatically pulls the same account details, so no faffing with signing up.
Thanks to a friend giving me her referral code I got my first meal (and subsequent other meals through using my referral code) completely free! Once you’ve downloaded the app, click on the three lines on the top left of the screen, then PROMOTIONS, add the code eats-thd9z, click apply, and voila, you’ve got £10 off your first order!
The great thing about UberEATS is that you don’t currently get charged delivery fee, there’s no minimum spend, it’s all automatic through your bank account (so no fumbling around with cash), you’re not expected to tip (it even says that when on the check out screen), and they are incredibly helpful both on Twitter or via email if there are delays with delivery/food isn’t up to standard.
For £10 off your first UberEATS order, use the code: eats-thd9z (similarly if you’ve never used Uber before and want £15 off your first ride, you can use the code: thd9z)
In London, UberEATS is only accessible to people within a certain radius of central, you can check your postcode on the website (which also has a list of all the cities UberEATS is currently available in)!
