Size Inclusive Jackets & Coats | Lands End Plus Size Coat Review

* ad – the following is a paid partnership with Lands’ End, sharing info about the brand and a plus size coat I received from them. This blog is an honest reflection of my thoughts.

Christmas is right around the corner and we are fully amongst the chilly months. If you’re stuck on what to get for any of your loved ones as a gift, and you’re after something that will fit them well (regardless their size), and is both useful and cute – worry no more! I found a lovely plus size coat on there recently! What better gift than a new jacket or coat to help keep them toasty this winter?

Allow me to introduce: Lands End! They sell a range of clothing and are well-known for their high-quality clothing. Their products include winter jacket and plus size coats. Something I particularly loved when browsing the site, is that the fill of the coats is clearly labelled, meaning if, like me, you are vegan you can ensure you find products suitable.

I first came across the brand in autumn, via a friend – and I love selection they have available.  Particularly as they cater to plus size people with items not being made in differing cuts or colours for the bigger people! And thanks to that I’ve found the perfect plus size coat.

Size Inclusivity is important

Being plus size means that options are a little fewer and far between, especially when finding things that fit the style that I’m after, as well as being affordable. Lands End do a range of Womens Coats & Jackets, at various price points depending on what you’re after, without compromising on style (and they often have great discounts on too). So often plus size coats are a different ugly cut/colour/print in the larger sizes. But plus size people deserve nice clothes, too!

Dopamine Dressing during grey months

Dopamine dressing has been a ‘thing’ for a couple of years now, AKA dressing in things that make you feel good, this in turn releases dopamine. I was after something colourful without being too garish, and that could compliment my extensive collection of black clothing. Enter the Womens Plus Bouclé Coat: an ‘Evening Blue’ teddy bear fuzz, zip up plus size coat (also available in Black, Forest Moss, and Purple… I think I need the Purple). It’s listed for £80, but at the time of publishing there’s an offer for almost 50% off RRP!

My Plus Size Coat Review

Alongside the colour, and style being exactly what I was after, and what my wardrobe was missing… I also love that this coat has deep pockets, a two way zip up the front, and a wide collar with popper fastening. The quality is nice, and it keps me toasty during a chilly walk along the seafront.

At the bottom of every jacket & coat product page you can find a temperature rating in the Features & Description. This one is listed as WARM… It “keeps out the chill on milder autumn/winter days”.  So I can wear on it’s own, or under a rain mac on the soggy days, and under a bigger coat for the extra chilly days!

If all that couldn’t sway you to browse for the gifts you may still be after (or any extras)… There items also come wrapped beautifully (pics at the end of the blog)! The wrapping is perfect to simply label and put straight under the tree – saving you a job! There’s no need to surrender precious festive decorating, partying, cooking, or resting, time!

Lands’ End 2023 Christmas order deadline is 19th December at 10pm, shop now to find the perfect gifts.
